V5.14.0 Release Notes - Season 3 Release and Optimizations!

  • Season 3 is now active!
    • Level System is now back with Levels now being handled off chain to save blockchain resources and allow for better optimizations
    • Battle Pass is now purchasable for 500k gp
    • Season 2 started exactly 2 years ago and going forward, we want to have more and shorter seasons. Season 3 end date will be announced soon.

🎨 Improvements

  • We did lots of optimizations to the code to fix many of the errors people are seeing. Please still do make bug reports when you face an error. Thank you!
  • Disabled Item caching for better compatibility with browsers with low memory
  • Updated Unity packages
  • Optimize Refresh Data Button logic
  • Refactor and removed old code

🐛 Bug fixes

  • Lots of bug fixes
  • 512 mb memory error workaround
    • This error may still pop up until a more long term fix is available but should not affect gameplay
  • Cannot read length of undefined error fix.

We are still investigating the issues with the heal all function.

  • Season Reset

    • We will be ending Season 2 and resetting levels for everyone.
    • Please note there may be maintainence in the next few days as we get ready for Season 3
    • Players who placed top ten will receive a Trophy sticker based on your ranking.
      • Ranks 6-10 will recieve a Top 10 Sticker
      • Ranks 2-5 will recieve a Top 5 Sticker
      • Rank 1 will recieve a Top 1 Sticker
  • Battle Pass

    • We want to also be more transparent about when seasons will end and the rewards. To facilitate this, we are introducing a Battle Pass System
    • Players are now able to see aand claim rewards from the Free Pass as they level up during a season
    • We are also offering a premium Battle Pass to allow for even more rewards.
  • New Quests!

    • Added new Daily Craft quest
    • Added new Daily Boss Fights quest
    • Completed Quests will now have a completed icon
  • Leaderboard will now display older season rankings as well

  • Added Artifact conversions for the wood set (old equipment)

  • Players are now able to open packs directly in the game from your unstaked inventory.

  • Added Send button for Chat

🎨 Improvements

  • GOLD pool balancing

    • To improve GOLD pool stability, we have increased the GOLD pool generation rate from 0.00000003 GOLD per second to 0.00000010 GOLD per second.
    • We have also updated the pool claim logic to balance this out to have gold rewards stay relatively the same.
    • In the long term, this will allow for less drastic fluctuations within a day and keep GOLD rewards healthy.
  • Better reward screen for quests, packs, battlepass etc.

  • Optimize retrieving unstaked inventory data.

  • Optimize Staked Inventory Data

  • Optimize Event Handling

  • Refactor and removed old code

    • Players will be able to summon this boss during the event
    • The boss will also have a chance to drop the new Elara Packs.

    • As we continue to grow and evolve, we rely on your feedback to improve the game. To facilitate more feedback from players, we will be giving out rewards for best answers/suggestions and random entries.

    • Players are now able to summon the Giant Slime Boss
    • Summoners will be rewarded an additional drop on Boss death
    • Bosses can now drop Starter Packs!

    • Updated Boss Loot Tables. You can view the loot table changes here: Loot Tables
    • giantslime HP is now 50k from 100k. This means the minimum damage requirement for a roll is now 500 from 1000. (still 1%)
    • This allows for more players to get a roll easier
    • Boss HP bar should update better after a boss fight
    • Fixed text sizing on boss last hit result

    • Players are now able to fuse 5 Artifacts of the same rarity into a single Artifact of a higher rarity.
    • The new Artifact will have traits based on the input Artifacts, similiar to Character Fusion

  • Added a boss notification, on the main page that shows how many bosses are available
  • Generalized Contract requests to be more efficient and less code.

  • Fixed a memory leak. Should help with memory issues and wasm errors

  • Switched Captcha system from Google Recaptcha to Cloudflare Turnstile
    • A lot of users were getting API Error: Verfication Failed! issues. This should help.
    • This also means we move away from Google services for Cloudflares privacy based approach
    • This also removes a lot of bloat from our codebase since Turnstile is more minimal
    • Also removes annoying Recaptcha bubble at the bottom of the screen :D
